Our projects

We protect, support and strengthen children that are living in the poorest regions of the world. The people involved in providing help must be aware of local traditions. Therefore we work exclusively with experienced local partners.

Together with the people in need we are looking for efficient solutions that are effective and sustainable in the long term. Education and independence are particularly important to us.

Please find below a selection of our current projects.

Corona aid for families and children in need: the Corona pandemic and its consequences have had a dramatic impact: millions of people have lost their jobs, countless families are struggling to survive - including many children! We provide the poorest families worldwide with essential food and hygiene items as well as protect children from exploitation. We ensure that people have immediate access to clean drinking water and soap to protect themselves from infection. Together with our partners we also ensure that children can continue to learn.

Aid to Syrian refugee children in Lebanon: we support 3-16 year old children through language courses and lessons to prepare them for admission to Lebanese State schools. Traumatised children receive psychosocial support.

Clean water for healthy children in Malawi: we are establishing 20 boreholes and are constructing suffient sanitation facilities and hand wash facilities in 26 public schools.

Vocational training to fight poverty in Malawi: our project enables street children, orphans and other disadvantaged young people to learn a profession so that they can escape poverty and build a better future for themselves. The trainings include hairdressing, tiling, welding, carpentry, bricklaying and bicycle and motorbike repair.

Reducing child marriage in Zambia: we help girls who are at risk of early marriage or who have already been forced into marriage. We protect girls through education and help young out-of-school mothers with knowledge and life skills training to enable them to return to school.
