Tamala is grateful. Until a few years ago, she was living on the streets, begging to survive. Thanks to our support, she was able to participate in our occupational training project and is now making her own living as a seamstress.

But that is far from the truth: if many people contribute, their joint efforts can create something big – and each individual donation makes our assistance even more effective!

Regular donations can give young people a future! By means of monthly echsinndobäitrag payments, you can help children in need, together with many other donors all over Luxembourg.

It is up to you yourself to decide how much you would like to give each month. We will then use the funds raised in this way where there is the greatest need for them – and always in such a way that the assistance produces the maximum impact.

Street children, orphans or children with disabilities: by means of the echsinndobäitrag payment, you can support girls and boys whose circumstances are particularly difficult.

We provide education, protection and adequate food for children. By means of our projects, we enable families to feed themselves and their children better. For example by means of agricultural courses, by distributing seed and by helping to create new sources of income for parents. This makes it possible for children to go to school and learn instead of having to perform exploitative child labour.

Children have to engage in hard labour

Worldwide, millions of children have to perform hard labour instead of going to school. In order just to earn a pittance, they work in quarries, on rubbish dumps or in other people’s households in order to support their families.

Children are abused

Against their will, girls become pregnant or are forced to marry. In many cases, the violence that children have suffered traumatises them for life. Help to protect children.

You can provide food for girls and boys in need. Thanks to your support, we can help families to restructure their farming and generate new sources of income. That will mean that they can obtain adequate food for their children.

You can provide schooling for girls and boys, so that they can build a future free from poverty. For example, you can support the education of refugee children and street children, and provide vocational training for young people with disabilities.

You can protect children against abuse and harmful practices such as forced marriage and pregnancy at an excessively early age. We teach girls and boys about their rights. We help the girls by advising them and providing direct assistance, and we help them to reintegrate into school.
